| Topics: | Induction (Chapter 3 of the Notes), and Strings, Languages, and Machines (Chapter 4 of the Notes up to page 4-13). |
| Format: | True/False questions plus Proof questions; a reference sheet containing the relevant definitions, theorems, rules and laws, and the notations plus examples of Chapter 4 on machines, will be provided; bring a photo id but no calculators. |

| Format: | Bring a photo id. A reference sheet containing the definitions and theorems of Chapter Two will be provided. |
