The final exam is scheduled for 10 am to 12 pm on Friday, December 8, in Rm. 221 of CSB. The exam will cover all materials discussed in the semester (i.e., a comprehensive exam), with 50% of the points from Chapter 6 (Sections 6-1 to 6.4) and Chapter 7 (Sections 7-1 to 7-3), and the other 50% divided approximaltey evenly between the topics covered in Test 1 and Test 2. A new formula sheet plus the formula sheets from two previous tests will be provided for the final exam. Bring a calculator to the exam.

Test #2 is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 13, during class. The test will cover materials in Chapters 3 (Sections 3-1 through 3-5) and 4 (Sections 4-1 through 4-5, and Sections 4-7) of the text. A formula sheet (revised after 11/08/2006's class) will be provided for the test. Bring a calculator to the test.

Test #1 is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 6, during class. The test will cover the materials from Chapters 1 and 2 of the text. Test questions will be similar to those covered in lectures and in homework assignments. A formula sheet consisting of the formulas used in algorithms 2.1 - 2.8 will be provided during test. You need to bring a calculator (but not a computer) to the test.
