Latex source files for some of our papers (09/26/2003)

Writing Latex paper is a learning process. I have learned a lot in these two years when writing papers. There are many small tips or tricks you need to accumulate, and you will find that writing latex paper becomes easier and easier as you have collected many templates or examples. Here I put the latex sources files of some papers of us, hoping that you can find some examples and templates helpful for you.

1.  "Worm Propagation Modeling and Analysis under Dynamic Quarantine Defense". PDF, Latex Source.

2. "Monitoring and Early Warning for Internet Worms". PDF, Latex Source.

3. "Code Red Worm Propagation Modeling and Analysis". PDF, Latex Source.

4. Technical Report: "Email Virus Propagation Modeling and Analysis". PDF, Latex Source.

In order for you to compile these Latex source files successfully, you need to change all "*.eps" in these latex files to "temp.eps" and download the temp.eps here.

You also need to download the IEEE and ACM latex templates. You can find the up-to-date version on their web pages, but here are the template I used in the papers above.

IEEEtran.clssig-alternate.cls

Some comments:

1. If you use Miktex to write Latex on Windows, you can use the "LaTeX2e reference" coming with Miktex for manual.

2. There are many Latex manuals and tutorials on the Web. Just try search them on google and you will find your solutions.
