Short biography:
Euripides Montagne is a Senior Lecturer at the
School
of Computer Science, University of Central Florida. He teaches courses in the areas of operating systems,
system software, computer architecture, programming languages, and social networks. He received his Ph.D.
from Universidad
Central de Venezuela(UCV), his M.Sc. in computer science from McGill University, and his Licenciado(B.Sc.) degree in computer science from Universidad Central de Venezuela. His research interests encompass architectures and software to handle irregular problems, non-standard computer architectures, parallel processing and computer science education. He has published a number of papers in his areas of expertise. Since 1999 he has been with the University of Central Florida. Previously he was a faculty member at Universidad Central de Venezuela (1980-98), and held visiting positions at McGill University, Universite Paris Sud (Paris XI), University of The West Indies at Jamaica, and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
