About The Award
Each year, the Department of Computer Science showcases top, full-time Ph.D. students who compete for the prestigious Computer Science Ph.D. Student of the Year award. Each competing student will give a presentation, which is approved by his or her advisor, that goes deep into one or two areas of their thesis. These presentations are judged and scored by several faculty members, after which the winner, first runner up, and second runner up are announced.
