C3 Team captures 3rd and 7th in the 2022 US Cyber Open

Congratulations to the UCF Collegiate Cybersecurity Competition Team and coach Dr. Tom Nedorost for an outstanding performance in the 2022 US Cyber Open. 1470 students from all 50 States and DC competed.  Cameron Whitehead (MSDF) and Caitlin Whitehead (MSDF) finished #3 and #7 in the competition. Three other UCF students, Jim Geist (CS-PhD), Harrison Keating (CS-Junior), and Matthew McKeever (CS-Junior), also finished among the top 80 and qualify to compete in the US Cyber Combine, the next step toward earning a position on the 2023 US Cyber Team.  More information can be found at https://www.uscybergames.com/season-2-open-ctf-leaderboard.
