Two teams of UCF students finished 1st and 2nd Place in the inaugural A-ISAC Collegiate Cyber Challenge hosted at the Aviation ISAC Annual Summit on Wednesday, September 19th at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center in Kissimmee, FL.

The UCF Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition Team finished 2nd in the 2018 National Cyber Defense Competition held April 13-15, 2018 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Convention Center.

A team of 6 students from the Collegiate Cyber Defense Club @ UCF (aka Hack@UCF) won 1st Place in the 2018 Department of Energy Cyber Defense Competition at Argonne National Laboratory in Lemont, IL on Saturday, April 7th.

The UCF Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition Team won the 2018 Southeast Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition held at Kennesaw State University in Georgia on April 2-3, 2018.

Congratulations to the UCF CCDC team, and their coach and advisor, Dr. Thomas Nedorost, who won first place on October 14th in the Raymond James Capture the Flag competition.

Congratulations to UCF’s Cyber Defense Team, which captured 3rd place in the Global Cyberlympics World Finals at The Hague, Netherlands today.

Congratulations to Hack@UCF and advisor Dr. Tom Nedorost for capturing 1st Place in the 15th annual Information Security Talent Search Competition at Rochester Institute of Technology this past weekend. The Information Security Talent Search (ISTS) competition is an annual 3-day cyber attack/defend competition hosted at RIT by SPARSA.

For the 5th consecutive year, UCF’s CCDC team has qualified to compete in the Southeast Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition Regional. The competition will be held April 5th and 6th at Kennesaw State University near Atlanta, GA. This year, 33 teams entered the SECCDC Qualification event including 7 Florida schools (UCF, UF, UNF, USF, UWF, FSU, Valencia).

The UCF Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition Team won 1st Place in the 2016 Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition held on November 6, 2016.
