A team of 5 UCF students will compete in the final phase of the “National Cyber Analyst Challenge” on November 6th at the Lockheed Global Vision Center in Pentagon City.

The Washington Post has published an article about the growing need for cybersecurity experts, and mentioned the UCF CCDC Team’s trip to Washington DC for winning the CCDC National Championship.

The UCF CCDC team was in Washington DC last week, receiving honors for winning the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition for the second year in a row.

Nathan Dennis, a sophomore IT major and member of the Collegiate Cyber Defense Club was interviewed for a WFTV 9 special report on public WiFi security issues.

Congratultions to the UCF CCDC Team for winning the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition for the second year in a row! This is the team’s third year competing in the competition.

The UCF Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition Team took 1st Place in the 2015 Southeast Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition held at Kennesaw State University on April 7-8. This is the third consecutive year that UCF has won 1st Place in the Southeast region.

The UCF Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition Team competed in the virtual qualification round of the Southeast Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition on Saturday, March 7th.

UCF was awarded the 2014 Collegiate Cybersecurity Championship Cup at the 48th annual Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences on January 5, 2015.
