Congratulations to Drs. Niels da Vitoria Lobo and Mubarak Shah on receiving $402,880 from the NSF for their REU Site in Computer Vision. The grant is titled: “REU Site: Research Experience for Undergraduates in Computer Vision”. This is the longest-running REU Site in the US, and has been going on for over 25 years.

Presentations were made at the University of Sao Paulo (Universidade de Sao Paulo, USP) and the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (Instituto Tecnologico de Aeronautica, ITA.)
