CECS Award for Excellence by a Graduate Teaching Instructor
January 29, 2021
Dr. Sahar Hooshmand received the CECS Award for Excellence by a Graduate Teaching Instructor and her nomination has been forwarded to the university for consideration for the same award at the university level. Although now graduated with her PhD in Computer Science, during her time as a graduate student she served as a graduate teaching assistant of several courses and also taught multiple undergraduate courses on her own as the instructor of record.
Dr. Hooshmand is a great educator who is emphatic towards the students. Her effectiveness as an educator has been well reflected with terrific evaluations and SPI reports. She is currently teaching CS courses as an adjunct instructor.
