Congratulations to CS Major, Joey Velez-Ginorio

Congratulations to our own CS major, Joey Velez-Ginorio, was recently awarded the Distinguished Undergraduate Researcher Award (DURA) for the month of August 2016. All DURA awardees are provided with a small scholarship and a certificate of achievement, and they will be recognized on the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) website, in the monthly OUR newsletter, and at the 2016 Showcase of Undergraduate Research Excellence program. This award is a great accomplishment for any undergraduate student. Congratulations also to his mentor, Dr. Guo-Jun Qi.
