Congratulations to Dr. Kenneth Stanley and former CS PhD alumnus Dr. Brian Woolley. On July 17th their paper, A Novel Human-Computer Collaboration: Combining Novelty Search with Interactive Evolution, won the Best Paper Award in the Artificial Life, Robotics, and Evolvable Hardware track at the Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO 2014). Brian is currently an assistant professor at the Air Force Institute of Technology.
