Congratulations to CS PhD student Faraz Hussain and Dr. Sumit Jha, who have received the Best Paper award at the 4th IEEE International Conference on Computational Advances in Bio and Medical Sciences for their paper “Parameter Discovery for Stochastic Computational Models in Systems Biology Using Bayesian Model Checking” co-authored with Dr. Chris Langmead, Dr. Qi Mi and Dr. Yoram Vodavotz. Our computer science graduate student and Graduate Research Excellence Fellow, Faraz Hussain, is the first author of this paper.
