Congratulations to The UCF Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition Team

Congratulations to the UCF Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition Team for winning the Raytheon National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition. UCF was named the Southeast Regional Champion just this past March, and competed against nine other regional champions from around the country during the National Competition from April 25th – April 27th. The 2014 UCF CCDC Team members are Carlos Beltran, Austin Brogle, Jason Cooper, Alex Davis, Kevin DiClemente, Grant Hernandez, Mark Ignacio, and Troy Micka. Four of the team members are Information Technology majors, three are Computer Science majors, and one is a Computer Engineering major. Dr. Thomas Nedorost, a faculty member in the Computer Science Division, is the team’s coach.
