Cyber Team wins CyberSEED CTF

UCF’s C3 team keep up it’s winning tradition by placing 1st and winning a $3,000 cash prize in the 2022 CyberSEED CTF sponsored by the University of Connecticut. Congratulations to the team members and coach Dr. Tom Nedorost. UCF finished 1st out of 84 collegiate teams from across the United States. UCF scored 1990 points in the 8-hour competition covering a variety of cybersecurity challenges focusing on reverse engineering, web application security, network traffic analysis, cryptography, and others. Team members included Cameron Whitehead (MSDF), Caitlin Whitehead (MSDF), Jim Geist (CS-PhD), and Jeffrey DiVincent (JR-CS).
