Dr. Kien Hua Becomes Pegasus Professor

Dr. Kien A. Hua was officially made a Pegasus professor at the Founder’s day convocation on April 3, 2013. He joins a group of distinguished colleagues who have been recognized as exemplars in the excellence with which they accomplish each component of the university’s tri-partite mission of teaching research and service. Dr. Hua was instrumental in transforming UCF into a research university. Dr. Hua is internationally recognized in research, as an IEEE fellow, and has 10 best paper awards from conferences. He is one of the ten most cited authors at UCF. Dr. Hua is an excellent teacher, having won UCF’s TIA award three times. He has also done significant work aiding local businesses.
