UCF Collegiate Cybersecurity Competition Team Places 3rd in 2021 Information Security Talent Search

The UCF Collegiate Cybersecurity Competition Team placed 3rd in the 2021 Information Security Talent Search Competition hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology on March 5th and 6th. 15 college teams from around the country competed for the coveted title of ISTS Champion. During the competition, teams faced a wide variety of challenges designed to cover many facets of computing security, system administration, networking, and programming. Challenges included code review, architecture design, incident response, and policy writing — all while defending a completely student-built infrastructure. RIT’s team finished in 1st Place, University of California – Riverside placed 2nd this year.
