UCF crowned National Champions for 5th time!

The UCF Collegiate Cybersecurity Competition (C3) Team won the 2022 National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition for a record 5th time! To get to the nationals, a team must first qualify through a regional qualification round held in February. The top 8 teams from each regional qualifier are invited to compete in their respective geographical regional competition in March. The winning team from each of the 10 regions advances to compete at the national competition in April. The UCF team has advanced to the National CCDC in 9 of the past 10 years winning the National Championship title in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2021, 2022, and finishing runner-up in 2018, 2019, and 2020. UCF has earned more National CCDC trophies than any other team in the history of the competition (four 1st Place trophies and three 2nd Place trophies).
