UCF Students Take 1st Place in Info Sec Talent Search

Two UCF teams captured 1st and 3rd place in the 16th annual Information Security Talent Search (ISTS) Competition on February 4th in Rochester, NY. ISTS is an annual three day cyber attack/defend competition hosted at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Competitors are faced with a wide variety of challenges which are designed to cover as many facets of computing security, system administration, networking, and programming as possible. These challenges include code review, architecture design, incident response, and policy writing all while defending a completely student built competition infrastructure. This is the second consecutive year that UCF won 1st Place at ISTS.
