These T-shirts were used in the course Computer Science 342, Principles of Programming Languages as I taught it Fall 1995 and Spring 1996, and Fall 1997. The course and many of the T-shirts are based on the text Essentials of Programming Languages by Daniel P. Friedman, Mitchell Wand, and Christopher T. Haynes (MIT Press and McGraw-Hill, 1992).
Many of the T-shirts were also used previously in the course Com S 227. That course, and many of those T-shirts, was based on the text Scheme and the Art of Programming by George Springer and Daniel P. Friedman (McGraw-Hill Book Company, 1989).
The images of the T-Shirts (and sweatshirts and dress shirts) are arranged in roughly cronological order. Clicking on one of the links will display a (fairly large) JPEG image of the front or back of the shirt.
