Hi, I’m Rittik! I’m a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at UCF, where I work with Prof. Yu Fu in the Designing Interactive & Intelligent Data (DiiD) Lab. My research interests are in human-computer interaction, data visualization, and AI. I’m especially interested in designing intelligent and interactive systems that help people better understand information, reason about data, and make sense of complex ideas.

Before starting my Ph.D. at UCF, I studied through a dual-degree program at Duke University and Duke Kunshan University. I’ve also worked as a data engineer at Fleet AI and had research experiences with Snap and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). My interdisciplinary background has shaped my interest in the connections between technology, data, and human understanding, which I now explore through my HCI research.

A little more about Rittik

A wallflower who believes in magic, makes things, and occasionally calls it research.

I’ve always enjoyed creating things. I grew up drawing comics, making games, and building all kinds of random projects, and I still love experimenting with new ideas and technology. I’m also a big sports fan, enjoy gaming, reading and love traveling whenever I get the chance. Whether it’s research, tech, or something creative, I’m usually happiest when I’m making or exploring something new.
